For us, this means that we are more interested in long-term business relationships than short-term sales. While other companies provide service and support for an additional cost, support, service and customization are our main jobs. We provide not just great software, but knowledge, expertise and genuine care in everything from planning your infrastructure to caring for your system over the long-term. Along with that and in-between, we install, configure and customize software for education and business, then we train users in how to use it -- again, over the long-term.
Furthermore, we can offer to work on your servers or on ours, the latter being preferred because we can control their environment and performance, letting you control any and all data you put on the servers (and we back it up for you -- and provide you with instructions for backing it up yourselves).
We are teachers who are also software design experts, programmers and system administrators who believe in bringing schools software that enables them to do a better job at an affordable price. Now that "Open Source" has become better known, other companies are starting to learn to do what we do. That's fine, but it would be better if they worked with us. We're stronger together and, besides, we actually know what we're doing. Not only do we understand your needs, we are experts in system administration, programming, support and training.
